Restaurant CCTV Clip Leaves Viewers Asking Questions

🎥 Watch the incident video at the bottom of the page 👇

A restaurant security camera opens on an ordinary dinner service stamped 20:35 and, frames later, cuts to a view from above the counter. The second angle is the one the uploader decided not to explain. The clip was posted with a single line — 'This is beyond evil' — and a shortened link, a situation no one saw coming for anyone who pressed play expecting context.

An Evening Room at 20:35

The earliest frames carry an on-screen timestamp reading 20:35:04 (M) in the corner, with neighbouring frames falling inside the same narrow window. The camera looks down across a dining area: red booth seating runs along one wall, plates and serving dishes sit on the tables, and greenery fills the space beside a patterned wall panel.

Several people are visible in the room. One man in a dark jacket is seated at a booth, facing outward, while other figures stand nearby or move past him. A person in dark clothing crosses the floor in the middle of the frame, and in the frames that follow, another figure in dark clothes heads toward the doorway area at the edge of the shot.

Nothing in these opening seconds looks dramatic. Plates are still on the tables, the seating is intact, and the room reads as a normal evening in a working restaurant.

The Angle Above the Counter

Then the picture changes completely. The remaining frames are shot from above a service counter, looking down at a point-of-sale tablet whose screen is lit and angled upward. A person in a dark hooded top, wearing a backpack, stands in front of the terminal, partly turned away from the lens. Across the counter, a second person in dark clothing stands on the staff side, with one hand near the display.

Service items cover the counter: a bowl of olives, small stacked cups, condiment containers, and a glass-fronted display case set into the unit below the tablet. The same narrow window of time appears on the recording — still 20:35.

That jump is what viewers keep circling back to. Users shared it widely, and the reaction in comment threads has focused less on what is visible and more on what is not. Whatever the person who posted the clip saw in the footage, the upload itself says nothing about it.

What the Caption Leaves Out

The post carries no location, no names and no date beyond the stamp burned into the images. A circular watermark reading IG|IG3 sits over the centre of nearly every frame, and the video is short: seconds of dining room, seconds of counter, then it stops.

Because of that, it left many questions. Viewers have asked what happened in the gap between the two camera angles, whether both views come from the same building, and what the person at the counter was doing at the terminal. The material offers nothing that settles any of those points, and nothing in it identifies anyone involved.

What is clear is only the shape of the sequence: a room full of tables, a person moving through it, and then a tighter view of a counter where a screen glows and two people stand on opposite sides. Everything else is left to the caption.

Some details in this account come from a single posted clip and remain unverified; the sequence and the timestamps are as they appear in the footage.

The camera shows the room and it shows the counter, but never the minutes in between — so what do you think happened in that gap?
