Spiritual People Be Like: Elevator and Goat Glitch Clips (video)

A short video built around one line of on-screen text — "Spiritual people be like" — strings together ordinary footage and then lets it go wrong. An elevator panel, a street of parked cars, a beach at dusk: nothing looks unusual until it does. For a caption that promises only a mood, the clip delivers one unexpected turn after another.

The Elevator That Opens Somewhere Else
The montage begins on an elevator control panel. Where a floor number should be, the display shows a single red question mark, and the shot holds there long enough to feel deliberate. Then the doors slide apart and a thick plume of pale vapor rolls out across the floor.

That clip gives way to a second elevator, and this time the doors open onto sand, surf and open horizon. A man in a white shirt stands inside the car, looking out at a shoreline where a corridor should be. Whether the footage is staged, edited or simply strange is never shown.
Together the two shots set the video's rhythm: a familiar machine, then that machine doing something that does not belong to it. The clips arrive inside a wide, letterboxed frame with visible static and flicker, the look of footage copied from an older tape.

A Goat Above the Traffic
The middle stretch moves outdoors, to a street lined with parked trucks, low storefronts and a fuel station sign. Above it all, a light-colored goat stands on overhead power lines, hooves balanced on the cable itself.
The animal lowers its head toward a clump of green vegetation hanging from the wire and chews at it, with traffic and pedestrians below. Frames show utility hardware, a pole and a wide roadway, but nothing shows how the goat got up there — or how it came down.

It is the kind of image that reads as a joke until you notice how steady the animal looks.

A House on a Sheet, a Dog by the Water
Later the video turns to hands. Two or three people hold a large white sheet or tarp spread on the ground, pointing at a marker drawing of a house with a tree — a roof, two windows, a door, a small dot inside one room. It looks like a plan sketched in a hurry, with a finger tapping at the corner of the page.

A portable toilet standing at what appears to be a construction site, wooden framing behind it, follows next. Then the closing clips settle on a beach at sunset, where a dog lies flat on the sand with what appears to be a pair of headphones over its head, a drink cup and towels nearby. People walk along the water; a pier sits on the horizon.

What the Caption Leaves Open
Every segment carries the same white text, "Spiritual people be like," which frames the collection as a joke about perception, manifestation and the idea of a glitch in the matrix — the terms the video's own tags use. The clips share no place, no person and no time of day, and that is the point: a situation no one saw coming, repeated until it starts to look like a pattern.
The edits are quick and the settings keep changing, from a metal elevator car to a suburban road to open water, so the only thread is the caption and the promise that something ordinary will turn strange. It left many questions rather than answers, and the footage never explains itself.

If a door opened onto a beach where a hallway should be, what would you do — step through, or close it and press the button again?
