Scope and operator
This notice describes the current Alder Atlas website. The operator is Nguyen Quang Quyen. Contact options are described on our Contact page.
Information used in this edition
Reading and searching do not require an account. Search happens in your browser using an article index. Search words appear in the page URL and may therefore be included in normal hosting request logs. The site does not use first-party analytics or display advertising. Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled by the host and may process limited technical measurement data. It loads a Google AdSense verification tag so Google can verify the publisher’s control of the domain. When your browser retrieves that tag, Google may receive standard technical information, such as IP address, browser information and request timestamps. Its hosting provider may process technical request information such as IP addresses, browser information and request timestamps to deliver and secure the service. Any sign-in required by a private hosting preview is controlled by that hosting service, not by a separate Alder Atlas account system.
Cookies and browser storage
There are no optional cookies in this edition. If you save a privacy preference, the website stores an essential-only preference in local storage on your device. You can remove it through your browser’s site-data controls. Hosting authentication, where present, is managed separately by the host.
Contact and search
The contact draft tool keeps the entered text in the current page until you download it or choose your email application. It does not submit information to an Alder Atlas server. A downloaded draft is stored on your own device. If you send an email, the email providers and recipient will process it. Do not include sensitive personal information.
Advertising and Google products
Google Analytics is not active and this edition does not display advertising. A Google AdSense verification tag is loaded so Google can verify the publisher’s control of the domain. It is not an ad placement. Before introducing advertising, the operator must update this notice to describe actual data use, partners and controls. Google’s advertising products may use cookies or similar technologies to collect and share information and serve personalised or non-personalised ads. If AdSense is introduced, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies for personalised ads. Users can manage personalised advertising through Google My Ad Center or explore participating vendors’ opt-outs at YourAdChoices. Before activation we must identify actual advertising partners, update these disclosures and implement the consent controls required for our audience, including an appropriate Google-certified CMP where required. Your choices
You can use the site without optional tracking, clear local site data and avoid including personal information in searches. Requests concerning personal information may be made through our Contact page or by emailing the published editorial address. This edition does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Future practices must be assessed before this statement is changed.
Retention and changes
The local preference remains until cleared. We do not operate a contact database. Hosting-log retention is determined by the hosting provider and must be documented by the operator before public launch. Material changes will be reflected in this page’s effective date.
